Podium Tri Technical Days – Terms and Conditions
1. Introduction
Welcome to Podium Tri Technical Days. These Terms and Conditions govern your participation in our training events, covering technical development in swimming, cycling, and running, as well as sport science sessions in psychology, nutrition, strength and conditioning, and physiology. By booking and attending a Podium Tri Technical Day, you agree to comply with these terms.
2. Booking and Payment
All bookings must be made through our official website or designated booking channels.
Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place.
Podium Tri reserves the right to refuse bookings at its discretion.
3. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellations made more than 4 days before the event will receive a full refund minus an administrative fee.
Cancellations within 4 days of the event are non-refundable unless a replacement participant is found.
If Podium Tri cancels an event due to unforeseen circumstances, participants will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer to another available event.
4. Participation Requirements
Participants must be at least 18 years old on the day of the technical day.
A reasonable level of fitness is expected to engage safely in training activities.
Participants must disclose any medical conditions, injuries, or relevant health concerns prior to the event.
It is the responsibility of each participant to ensure they have appropriate insurance covering personal injury and loss or damage to personal property.
5. Safety and Conduct
All participants must follow the instructions of Podium Tri coaches and staff at all times.
Proper sports attire and equipment suitable for each discipline (swimming, cycling, running) must be worn.
Helmets must be worn at all times when cycling outside
Disruptive or unsafe behavior may result in removal from the session without a refund.
6. Liability
Podium Tri and its coaches take all reasonable precautions to ensure participant safety. However, participation in physical training carries inherent risks, and attendees take part at their own risk.
Podium Tri is not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to property during the event unless caused by gross negligence on our part.
Participants are responsible for ensuring they have adequate personal insurance for sports-related activities.
7. Changes to Events
Podium Tri reserves the right to modify the schedule, content, or location of an event due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather conditions or facility availability.
Any changes will be communicated to participants as early as possible.
8. Use of Media
Podium Tri may take photographs or videos during events for promotional and educational purposes.
By attending, you grant permission for your image to be used unless you explicitly opt out in writing before the event.
9. Data Protection
Podium Tri respects participant privacy and will handle personal data in compliance with data protection laws.
Your details will only be used for event-related communications and will not be shared with third parties without consent.
Any testing conducted at universities as part of Podium Tri Technical Days will result in anonymized data collection. Universities will retain this data for research purposes, with identifiers limited to gender (male/female) and age group classification.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes arising from participation in Podium Tri Technical Days will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
By booking and attending a Podium Tri Technical Day, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
